Virgin Mobile should follow their own advice. Whilst waiting for service from Virgin’s Sort Me Out centre recently I heard this Catch Phrase,

“Virgin Mobile offers true per second billing from the first second, anything else is a ripoff!”

And from their website’s blurb…

We won’t steal your seconds

We offer true per-second billing – from the very first second – because anything else is a non-righteous rip-off. Did you know that most calls are dropped or last less than a minute? Without true per-second billing up to 60 percent of your call charge – could be an overcharge!

This reminded me of their new Unlimited Free SMS package, the only catch being that it does away with per second billing for the first minute.

By their own definition, Virgin with this package is a ripoff.
